Tikva’s Jewish Housing Registry is coming soon

How can I rent an affordable housing unit with Tikva Housing?

First, complete the housing Request for Information form with all the details asked. First, go into our Housing Registry and fill out all the information requested, including your housing composition, gross income etc. (link it to the Housing Registry form). Applicants are put onto a waiting list and when a unit becomes available, an applicant is selected from the waiting list and will be contacted by us.

Do I qualify for affordable housing and what type of unit would I get?

The type of affordable housing you might get is determined by a number of criteria, such as income level, family composition etc. Each applicant is placed on a waiting list for the size and type of unit they qualify for.How long will it take to get placed in a unit?Unfortunately, there is a much higher demand for affordable housing and the number of applicants is much greater than that of the number of units available. The length of an Applicant’s wait will vary depending on the type of housing requested and the number of units available. A new placement can only take place when a current tenant moves out and when a unit becomes available.

I need a place to live by the end of the month. Can you help me?

Unfortunately, Tikva Housing does not provide emergency housing.
