
The Dogwood Gardens project on Vancouver’s west side adds another 138 new units of affordable homes for residents on lower and moderate incomes. This housing is part of the Cambie Gardens community at Cambie Street and West 59th Avenue. The site was awarded by the City of Vancouver to SUCCESS Housing Society and will be operated through an innovative partnership between Tikva Housing Society (Tikva) and SUCCESS to serve the needs of a diverse range of individuals and households in Vancouver.
Tikva operates a total of 30 units on two floors in the 9-storey building, including:
- 6 studio apartments
- 10 one-bedroom apartments
- 8 two-bedroom apartments (1 fully accessible)
- 6 three-bedroom apartments
Rents are geared to tenants’ incomes, with maximum rents set at 90% of market rates.
Tikva provides affordable homes primarily for Jewish low to moderate-income singles, couples, and families.
